Customer Insight: Jaclyn and Luke | Bitfoot

June 3rd, 2026

What’s your biz all about? Give us the lowdown!

We’re a boutique software development company, based in the US but currently digital nomads in Auckland. We build software for web or mobile for early stage startups and for corporate innovation teams.

What made you take the leap and start your business?

We wanted to work with cool people on cool projects, without being tied down to a single corporation.

Hit any big milestones or wins recently? Share the good news!

We’ve recently brought on several brilliant software engineers as subcontractors, so we’re better equipped to take on larger projects!

Best advice for small biz owners or freelancers?

Build good relationships with everyone you work with! It makes the work better and more enjoyable, and every connection you make is a potential client connection down the road.

What’s your #1 productivity hack?

Goal-setting–we each use different tools and apps for this, but making a list of goals for a day, a week, a month, and a year keeps us on track!

Why TW – What do you love about us?

There’s nothing more energizing than being surrounded by creative and focused people!

Coworking vs. home or café – what’s the real difference?

Working from a coworking space really gives you the best of all worlds — the sense of community found in an office with the freedom of movement of working from home.

How’s the Workshop vibe helped you level up your work?

It’s immeasurable the impact The Workshop has had on our productivity. A space to go heads down amongst like-minded people? The impact it’s had on our business is truly hard to conceptualise.

Three words to describe The Workshop – go!

Warm, energizing and buzzing.

Someone thinking about joining? What would you say to them?

If you’re looking for a home (both professionally and personally), you can’t do better than The Workshop.
